A passion for programming

Reflections

My name is Nguyễn Anh Tuấn and I am currently in year 11. I am also one of those who have received help from the scholarship over the past few years. I am very grateful for the kindness that you have shown to me and to the others. I always do my best so as not to fall short of the help and care the Scholarship has given me.

My dream at the moment is to become a good programmer, to write software for the great software companies such as Microsoft, Apple and so on. That dream came to me quite suddenly, when I was chosen for the school's team of top pupils in Informatics. It was a surprise, something I had never even thought of, since my family live mainly by farming and I had little chance to use a computer. Even so, I was fortunate enough to win prizes in programming competitions at provincial and national level. I always hope to go further still in this science that is so new to me. Now that I have the right to enter university without an entrance exam, I can devote much more of my time to this subject.

The wish to make something of myself makes me try very hard. I want to succeed, and not only so that I can help my family: I want to help other people in the future as well.

I hope that I can help poor young people develop their passion for this very expensive subject. All of this urges me to try my very best, so that one day I will be able to do just that.

I hope that you will walk alongside me and the others as we set out to reach our dreams. May God bless us all.

I wish you every success in your own studies.
