Founder of the Medical Team

The Medical Team brings together all the Our Lady of La Vang & St Anthony scholarship recipients who are studying in medical and pharmaceutical universities across the country. The group was founded in 2019 at Trại Lê Parish, Diocese of Hà Tĩnh, by the President, Father Phêrô Trần Quân, and Dr. Thanh Phạm. As of today, the Medical Team comprises 3 management members, 5 advisory members, 24 scholarship recipients and 13 alumni. All the members are students in fields such as General Medicine, Traditional Medicine, Preventive Medicine, Pharmacy, Nursing, Dentistry and Medical Imaging Technology.

Four years have now passed since its founding, and thanks to the providence of Our Lady of La Vang together with the leadership of the Father President, the group has grown and grown stronger. The Medical Team has accompanied many doctors from their days on the school bench until now, and continues to do so. In this period in particular, the group has been able to organise free medical examinations, treatment and medicine for local people — something the Father President has cherished for the past 12 years, in his desire to form a young generation that is capable and deeply community-minded, so as to extend the thread of knowledge and together to advance the concern for "Education and the Future".
