A Voice Teacher

I am a member of the flock of Bảo Nham Parish - Bảo Nham Deanery - Diocese of Vinh. And like so many other young people, I have always had dreams of my own to strive for, to work towards and to achieve, so as to succeed within God's holy will. It is the same for me: from the time I was small I attended Mass regularly and was always humming hymns and songs to Our Lady, and from that my dream slowly took shape — to become a teacher of voice. By God's grace, my parents' sacrifice and the help of my parish, I was able to sing in the choir for many years. That was the setting in which I could both serve God and practise every day, so that little by little I came closer to my dream. The university I dreamed of was the Huế Academy of Music, and I was fortunate enough to be admitted to the very school I had hoped for. I am now a second-year student soaring through my university studies towards that dream. I believe that if God's grace continues to pour down on me, then with faith in myself and with hard work I will achieve my dream after I graduate.

It is through the Church that I was born, that I have succeeded, that I am able to pursue my dream, and I want to bring whatever abilities and whatever I have achieved to the service of God through the image of the poor, through children and the elderly, and to the service of the Church. I will try my best to pursue my dream within God's holy will. I ask the scholarship fund to keep me in prayer and to walk with me on the road towards my dream. I sincerely thank the scholarship fund, and I wish the fund continued growth, so that it may help many people in difficulty and nurture many seeds for the Church and for society.
