A preschool teacher
Perhaps like every other pupil and student, I grew up, went to school and sat the entrance exam for the school I loved. Wishing to become a preschool teacher in the future, from the moment I set foot in Đà Nẵng University of Education I told myself that I must always study hard and live well, however many difficulties I might meet.
My family is classed as a poor household in our locality; my parents farm the fields for a low income and there are many of us children. So, to ease the burden on my family, alongside my studies I also work outside class hours to help cover the cost of living.
Although my circumstances are still difficult, I have given my utmost so as not to fail my parents or those who have helped me, and I have earned a few distinctions: student with good academic results (2 semesters), excellent results (3 semesters), taking part in the thesis defence, and taking part in voluntary blood donation.
If I achieve the dream I described, it will be a very great joy for me and for my family. When that day comes, I think I will strive to be an exemplary teacher — one who loves the profession and loves children, who works in unity with colleagues and lives amiably with everyone, and who has a duty to share with and help those in difficulty, just as I myself received help when I was in need. Among those, I cannot fail to mention the support of the Our Lady of La Vang Scholarship Fund.
And so, in these days while I am still at university, I always remind myself to study diligently and to seek out more opportunities to encounter the many lives around me, so as to broaden my knowledge and to open my heart to those less fortunate.
That is my own small dream. Once again I sincerely thank the management board and the older members of the Our Lady of La Vang Scholarship Fund for taking the time to read this and for giving me the chance to confide my hopes.
I wish the management board and everyone in the Scholarship Fund good health and an abundance of graces from Our Lady of La Vang.
