FATHER PHÊRÔ TRẦN QUÂN, PRESIDENT OF THE OUR LADY OF LA VANG SCHOLARSHIP

Father Phêrô Trần Quân was born on 21 March 1987 in Trại Lê Parish, Can Lộc Deanery – Diocese of Hà Tĩnh ( in Quang Lộc Commune, Can Lộc District, Hà Tĩnh Province ).

2003-2006: Studied at Nguyễn Công Trứ High School, Nghi Xuân - Hà Tĩnh
2007-2011: Studied at Duy Tân University, Đà Nẵng. Graduated with a bachelor's degree in English, majoring in Translation and Interpreting
2008-2009: Deputy Head of the Cathedral Students' Executive Board, Đà Nẵng
2008-2011: Head of the Executive Board of the Catholic Students of the Diocese of Vinh in Đà Nẵng
2009-2010: Head of the Cathedral Students' Executive Board, Đà Nẵng
2009-2010: Founded and headed the Executive Board of the Đà Nẵng Catholic Student Tutoring Club
2010: Founded the Fund for Students Affected by Storms and Floods of the Diocese of Vinh in Đà Nẵng ( with the permission of Bishop Giuse Châu Ngọc Tri, Bishop of the Diocese of Đà Nẵng, and Father Phêrô Hoàng Gia Thành as spiritual director. This was the forerunner of the Chắp Cánh Ước Mơ Scholarship (its original name))
16 January 2011: Founded and directed the OUR LADY OF LA VANG Scholarship ( formerly Chắp Cánh Ước Mơ )
2011-2013: Studied at Xã Đoài Minor Seminary, Nghệ An
2013-2014: Studied English for the TOEFL iBT in Sài Gòn. Together with Pet. Nguyễn Công, founded and accompanied the English club for students of the Diocese of Vinh in Sài Gòn.
2014-2020: Studied at Holy Apostles College and Seminary, Connecticut, America
16 June 2019: Ordained to the diaconate in the United States
15 February 2020: Ordained to the priesthood at Holy Apostles College and Seminary, United States.
